I have John Blanford born 1709 in Prince George Co. MD, dying 1770 same place -- will written in March 1770, probated April -- see MD Probate Records, vol.14, p.158). Joseph and Monica are two of the children listed as heirs. The rest comes from Donnelly, "Beaven-Blanford-Clarkson-Mitchell Families of Maryland, Kentucky,USA" which lists Joseph's mother as "Eleanor" Monica is listed on several HAGAN lists as John's first wife with Ann (a cousin not a sister) as also having married John.

The infomation on Monica Blandford HAGAN comes in part from "The Nelson County Genealogist"vol.16, no.3 (Spring 2000), p.60, which cites a document in the Nelson Co. Deed Book 10 dated August 11, 1814. She was alive on that date.
Edmund West, comp. "Family Data Collection - Deaths" [database online] (Provo, UT: Ancestry.com, 2001) has a Monica Hagan dying in Kentucky in 1830 (no place given). No way of saying whether the same one.
