I am researching ancestors of mine who may have been from Maryland and gave Grandison as a middle name to one of their sons.

Their names are Josiah Wilcox and his wife, Eleanor. I do not know her middle name.

Josiah Wilcox was born about 1777 and died in Russellville, Logan Co., KY, in 1813. His wife, Eleanor, remarried a man named Col. William L. Sands and lived until 1856. She is also buried in Russellville, between her two husbands.

There is more information on Eleanor's tombstone. She was born 1 Aug 1778 in Maryland and died 3 Feb 1856 in Logan CO., KY.

Josiah and Eleanor Wilcox named their two sons Charles Grandison Wilcox and Nathan Miles WIlcox.

They also had three daughters: Amanda Melany or Melviney, Emily Angelina, and Almira Clementina Wilcox.
