in reference to the Tarlton's. By chance do you know of an Ann Rosella Philamonia (Anarpy) Tarlton who m John Miles Duval in St. Mary's Co. Md. She may be his 2nd wife.

Several have given a James as her father. There were two James Tarltons with wills, on in 1756 and the other in 1775. James of 1756 had children: James, Jeremiah, Stephen, John, Thomas, Susanna, Ann, & Chloe.(females proven by their brother John's will of 1772)

The James will 1775 has: Ignatius, John, and Ann. If... Anarpy Tarlton was the 2nd wife of John Miles Duval then the fact that in 1775 she was just ann Tarlton not Duval would mean she was a 2nd wife for John Miles Duval.
