Karen - Just saw your note. This is what I have:

John Mattingly (1774-1854) married Edith Ellis (1775-1845) on January 7, 1809 at Sacred Heart RCC in St. Mary's. This may not be the first marriage for either since they are both over 30. Anyway, I have two children: Henry Mattingly (1813-1869) who is my gggrandfather. He married Rebecca Ann Burroughs. And, William Mattingly (no dates) who married Jane E. Johnson. I don't have a George From this
marriage.
Just to add a little spice, William/Jane's daughter was Jane Ann Mattingly. She married James B. Spalding. James/Jane Ann had a daughter Mary Ellen Spalding who was the third(!) wife of my grandfather, James Mattingly.
