I am researching my ancestors thru the LYNCH family.

I am working with notes that my grandmother made, and I have no idea what her sources were.

In one of her lists, I have the following:

Thomas Ger(r)ard a big deal in MD, marries Susannah Snow(e)
his daughter Elizabeth marries John Caods 1st (or could this be Jojhn Coodes???)
John and Elizabeth have a son, John 2d
who marries Ann ???
and they have a son, John 3d who marries ???
they have a son Joseph,
who marries Monica???
their son Ignatiius marries Sarah Head (sp?)
Ignatius and Sarah have a son John, who marries Drayden Hebb
John and Drayden have a child Elizabeth who marries Thom Alexander Lynch
and they have a daughter Charlotte who marries Louis Napoleon Goulay (Gouley)
and so on down to me.

I haven't been able to fit this in. my grandmother considers this a direct line from Thomas Gerard to her.

there is a ton of informlation about Thomas Gerard.

I am not sure that this is correct.

Addie Elizabzeth Hartmann is my grandmother.

in the Ger(r)ard lineage I have run across John Caods, but also John COODES. could they be the same person?
