Rudolphus NORRIS b. abt 1745, St. Mary's Co., MD to Thomas NORRIS and Jane GREENWELL, d. 1814, Nelson Co., Ky. married Dorothy Ann BROWN. Several researchers have told me that Rudolphus's grandfather, John NORRIS was the son of Thomas NORRIS, the immigrant from England. Now I have been told by another researcher that everyone else is wrong. I am confused. Need help verifying this line. This Norris line is Catholic.
