Mr. Charles Ashcomb April 8, 1713
James Keech
Mrs. Martha Dansey deposes that sometime in the latter part of her former husband, Mr. Charles
Ashcomb's lifetime, she heard some discourse between her husband and Greenfield re the infringements of Mr. James Keech upon Greenfield's land. She heard her husband ask Greenfield to come down and resurvey it, for the land was Greenfield's and he knew the bounds as well as he knew the bounds of his own. Greenfield seemed somewhat doubtful of what Ashcomb said and Ashcomb offered to buy his title to the land.
The father of Martha Earle was John Earle
he IGI record tells me that Martha's father was a John Earle, mother was called Julian. You mentioned St Dunstan, this is not a place,it is a church at Stepney.Middx, IGI
spell Ashcom, no b,they show the marriage date as Aug 18th,not 14th,and Martha was christened on the 2nd Aug 1668
at St Dunstans Church,Stepney,Middx at the age of one.
