======================
Based on this I would say that Susanna was the wife of Joseph before she married Ignatius. This also leads me to beleive that this is not the same Susanna who married Ignatius Howard in 1801. It appears that one of their daughters was married, at the time of the will, to a FARMER. If it were the same Susanna, it would be tough to have children 30 years later.
There is a connection between Henry Smith Hawkins (appraiser) and the Smoots in that he married Elizabeth Smoot, dau. of Charles Smoot and Elizabeth Harris.
Hope this helps.
