In my previous posting I mentioned a Philip Peacock. I could not find anything on this Philip before or after the 1880 Census record.

Based on the initial posting that Nellie Catherine Peacock's mother was an Able/Abel, I now believe, without further truly conclusive proof, that Philip Peacock is actually John C. Peacock.

Based on the 1880 Census record, Philip Peacock was born circa 1837. Philip's wife's name in Martha E.

John C Peacock is not listed in the 1880 Census record, but based on 1850, 60, 70, 1900 Census records, he was born circa 1837. John was married to Martha E. Abell.
