Will witnessed by Cornelius Barber, Edward Barber and Barnet Barber. Children listed are Jonathan, Leonard, Jane and Elisabeth Scrogins. Land tract "Branson's Fitgur", 159 1/2 acres.
Trying to prove John Sr. was son of John Branson and grandson of Thomas Branson and Amy Barber, John b 1687 d. 1770, and that John (TA1 721) was his son b. 1715 d 1775. Also that they were the three John Bransons listed in "State of his Lordship's Manor of Chaptico, 1743" (John Branson, dead 83, his son John 56 and his grandson John, 28), land tract of 157 acres.
