I've been following this list for a year and a half now, so I guess it's about time I put in some of my ancestors from St. Mary's Cty. and hope someone can help me with some brick walls.

Thomas Thurston Purcell b. abt. 1825 Westmoreland Cty., VA married Rebecca Mary Brown b.abt. 1850 Charles Cty., MD
Marriage was Dec. 29, 1874 at St. Aloysius Church in St. Mary's Cty.
Thomas was previously married in Northumberland Cty., VA
and fathered four sons, George Washington Purcell, Henry Purcell, John Thomas Purcell, and Charles Fulton Purcell.
He brought George,John, and Charles into his marriage with Rebecca Mary Brown.
Children of Thomas and Rebecca were;
Joseph Alexander Purcell b. Nov. 23, 1875 d. Apr. 9, 1946
James Franklin Purcell b. Sept. 1877
Robert Lee Purcell b. Mar. 2, 1879
Mary Blanche Purcell b. Jul. 11, 1883 d. Jul. 7, 1968
Ruth Rosalie Purcell b. Aug. 27, 1889
Eugene Matthew Purcell b. Nov. 1, 1887 d. Nov. 21, 1966
Mark Purcell b. Oct. 7, 1885
Peter Purcell b. Sept. 22, 1893
Sara Ellen "Nellie" Purcell b.Jun. 1, 1880 d. Feb. 4, 1961

I have much of the info to the present date on my family of Purcell's but need to know where Thomas and Rebecca were buried, and when they died.

A cousin sent me a copy of a death certificate she was sent from church records which states Rebecca Purcell died
Dec. 14, 1906 at the age of 70 yrs.(way out of line for age)

It states her spouse was William. Should be Thomas?

The person reporting info was Charley (step---)

Father of deceased is Wm. Dent b. Charles Cty., MD



I am really perplexed by all of this as I cannot find a William Purcell married to a Rebecca Dent.

If anyone is researching these lines or can add light to this, please follow up, and I thank you very much in advance.
