I have ordered death certificates from the Maryland State Archives, so that has been a big help, I just wish they weren't so expensive.

When I made the original post I was thinking of making a trip up to Maryland, but since then I've bought a house so I've been busy doing other things.

I figured I would exhaust my online resources before I made the trip up there. I'll check out the Nabb Center.
