Prior to 1792 and the settlement of the Pennsylvania/Maryland boundary dispute, the southern tier of [what are now] counties in Pennsylvania were part of northern Maryland.
The records of Adams, York and Lancaster counties, PA generated prior to 1792 are, today, located somewhere in Maryland.
Do you know where I can search to find those early records of Adams, York and Lancaster counties, PA ?
Thank you for the advice.
