Lockhart BIGGS. was born on 2 Oct 1801/2 in MD or DE.9,4 or 23 or 25 Oct 1801/2 He died on 2 Feb 1875 in Macon Co., IL. Died of smallpox - buried in mass grave.

1850 Census says state of birth was Maryland
1860 Census says state of birth was Delaware

ii. Phoebe BIGGS was born about 1805 in prob DE. Old Family Records Number Five -- Author Milo Custer (casey@nstar.net) lists Phoebe as the daughter of Sarah Evans (2nd wife) and birth at about 1820.
iii. Andrew BIGGS Jr. was born on 28 Jan 1808 in DE. or Jan. 22, 1808 He died on 2 Apr 1876 in Funk's Grove, McLean Co., IL. He was a farmer. May have had a son named William M. Biggs who lived at 1310 N. Clinton St., Bloomington, IN. According to a letter from William Walter Austin dated Feb. 2, 1957, "He says his Grandfather was Andrew Biggs."
iv. Martha BIGGS was born on 18 Oct 1812 in prob DE. She died in 1859. According to a letter from Florence Biggs 1957, Martha may have been married to Joe Richards. "She died young and he remarried.

I need to know if Lockhart was actually born in Maryland or Delaware and also any information about the kids (Phoebe, Andrew, Martha). Thanks, Jeremy
