PITTSFIELD -- Rose Irene Lahue, 69, of 53 Robbins St., Hinsdale, N.H., formerly of Pittsfield, died yesterday morning at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 20, 1930, daughter of John and Laura Lapage Bordeleau, she attended St. Joseph's School and graduated from Pittsfield High School. She had resided in Hinsdale since 1987, and had also lived Sylmar, Calif., and Keene, N.H.
She was employed as an insurance underwriter in Chicago and Cleveland, and had also worked at the Rice Paper Co. in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Lahue was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Hinsdale and was a member of the Silver Slippers Dance Group in the Brattleboro, Vt., area.
She leaves her husband, Richard A. Lahue Sr.; two sons, Richard A. Lahue Jr. of Keene and Glenn A. Lahue of Winchester, N.H.; a brother, Joseph E. Bordeleau of Pittsfield; two sisters, Doris Russell of Kirkwood, N.Y., and Marie Clayman of Valley Village, Calif., and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hinsdale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hinsdale. Friends are invited to call at the O'CONNOR-CARR FUNERAL CHAPEL, Brattleboro Road, Hinsdale, N.H., Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Lahue's memory to the American Cancer Society, in care of Norma Jean Pinney, P.O. Box 87, West Swanzey, N.H. 03469.
