Surnames: Agnew, Boylan, Costello Donahue
Ann Boylan (widow) of Felix Agnew who died (Apr 21 1865) as POW in CW left Rossie, NY (1868) after selling farm to move to Housatanic, MA. with children: James B, John & Matthew Arthur. Agnew family lived in Housatasnic area from 1868-78.
During this time period, Ann's son John must have met Nellie Ellen Costello, daughter of John Costello & Catherine Donahue of West Stockbridge, MA. Nellie was working in Great Barrington, MA. Ann in 1878 left MA for Waterbury CT. However, John Agnew & Nellie Ellen Costello were married (22 Aug 1882) in Catholic Church in Great Barrington, MA by Father James Hennesey. John was working
as a matcher of lumber in Waterbury, CT and after the marriage they moved to 15 Orange St. where they made their home and attend Immaculate Conception Church. Any info on Agnew family relatives will be greatly appreciated. May God Bless!
