We are cousins. Your grandfather, Leslie, was the brother of my grandfather, David. My mother, Katie Bourdo, who lives with me now, married David's son, Alex. She says your parents, Hank and Mary, were witnesses at her wedding. If you are the oldest child, you too were at the wedding as a baby. She remembers that you moved some place out west.
Our family was close to your uncle Charle's family all of the time I was growing up. Charles died several years ago. His wife, Mary, just died last year. We are still in touch with their daughter, Joan, who lives in Washington state now. Her brother, Leslie (Spike), still lives in the Pontiac area.
I remember meeting your grandfather, Leslie, when I was a little girl. My mother remembers that your dad died of leukemia.
My brother has been doing some work on the family. I know he would love to have a copy of the census. My mother also has photos.
My brother, mother, and I all live in the Kansas City area now.
