My 3rd greatgrandparents, George GODFREY b. 9-17-1758 in Taunton, Ma. (Bristol County) and Abigail KING, b. 6-22-1763 in Raynham, Ma (also Bristrol Cty.) had three children, James, b. 4-13-1784 in Taunton, Ma; Samuel Leonard, b. 4-7-1786 and Abigail, b. 4-20-1788. The family moved to Bennington, Vermont in the spring of 1790 & 5 more children were born.
