Hi Jane
I was searching the 1940 census today and found Clem Bonvie (mis-transcribed as 'Bonnie') and Bertha (last name mis-transcribed as 'Corker')! Both were working at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham Massachusetts. Bertha is a domestic maid and Clem a kitchen helper. Maybe that is where they met?
I know very little about my Jackson ancestors that migrated to the USA so thanks for your help and I hope we can keep in touch!
