Anyone do lookups or know how I would begin?

I just bought a property in FR and, being the family historian that I am, I'd like to look up some information about my property.

It's two houses on one lot, so I'd like to find out if they were built at the same time, who originally owned them, exactly what year they were built, etc. If I could find the original plans, that would be nice.
