Edna U. Delahanty
Edna U. Delahanty, 100, Sarasota, died Feb. 15, 2001.
She was born Oct. 23, 1900, in Fall River, Mass., and came to Sarasota 14 years ago from
Boston. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and was a teacher with
E.M.C. Dursee High School in Fall River. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association
and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
Survivors include three nieces, Catherine McGinnis of Cape Coral, Pat Brosseau of
Jeffersonville, Vt., and Kathleen Fulginiti of Aston, Pa.; and two nephews, Everett J. of White
Plains, N.Y., and Thomas of Sarasota.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel. A
liturgy will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Burial will be
in Fall River.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic
Church, 5349 Midnight Pass Road, Sarasota, FL 34242.
