Looking for parents & siblings of ESTHER/HESTER TOBEY, born 11 Aug 1763 prob. in New Bedford, Bristol Co., MA, married ARTHUR HATHAWAY 4 April 1784 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA, died 8 Jan 1847 in Kankakee Co., IL. Had 9 children all born in Fairhaven, MA, then moved to Cairo, Green CO., NY, then Pine Hill, Ulster Co., NY., where Arthur Hathaway died. Children were Jonathan, Sally, Paul, Arthur, Betsey, Nathaniel, Achsah, Ansil, and Eley. Son Paul married in NY, then moved to Yellowhead Township, Kankakee Co., IL and in 1842 Esther moved there as well. She died there on 8 Jan 1847.
