I just came across your post in search for Samuel Bishop. I have been looking for Tillabee Bathrick Bishop who is the son of Samuel and Esther.Esthers dads name was Tillabee.
Tillabee is only mentioned as Tileby Bishop in the 1850 census. Niagra New York. My gggrandfather William Henry Bishop is son of Tillabee and Sarah.William had a son Charles Otis Bishop and he had my grandmother Alyce Otis Bishop.
I really would like any information on the Bishops. I understand they are Irish.When did they come to N.Y.?
Appreciate it, through Ancestry I have connected with my grandmothers brothers son who has no information about his Grandfather Charles.
