I'm trying to find information on my great grandfather Charles E Phillips (b 1882 in Maine). As best I can document, he left Caribou Maine between 1910 and 1920 and then I have him in Northampton in 1921. I can document him living in Northampton and married to Gladys R Phillips (b.1895 Connecticut) in 1930, with daughter Arlene (b 1925)and son Wendell E (b 1927). According to city directories he was still there in mid to late 40's, was principal of Vernon Street School and lived at 11 Jewett. He passed in or shortly before 1953.

I can't find anything else on Gladys or the children.

I would like to fill in the gaps of his life, ie marriage to Gladys, info on the decsendants, occupation change from clerk to principal, but I am clueless of where else to look and resources from that area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
