I am also a great grand daughter of John J Foley, his daughter Alice Gertrude is my grandmother. She married Herbert A Butler, who was born in Newfoundland and came to US in 1900. Alice Gertrude had either 8 or 9 children with her husband, my father was Herbert Richard Butler. Other siblings include John, Kenneth, Marion, Annie, Lillie? I'm still learing about them. I never met my father or his family and recently connected with a cousin (dau of Marion) thanks to this board. Apparently my great grandfather was mayor of Cambridge 1954-1955.
