So, I along with thousands of others on Ancestry show Thomas Adams (b. 1743) as the brother of President John Adams. Upon further research, I have discovered that John Adams only had two brothers, Peter and Elihu. I also searched thinking that this Thomas Adams was possibly Thomas Boylston Adams, but to no avail. With that being said, my last confirmed Adams on paper is my 4X Great Grandfather on a 1850 Census record in Cherokee County Georgia showing that he was born in 1800 in North Carolina. So can anyone out there conclusively prove that Thomas Adams is the brother or some kin of John Adams, or are all of these trees just speculation? Thanks for your help!
