My father just told me that his mother family (his mothers 1/2 sister was related to the people that owned the diamond shoe company) her first name was Ester and her sister my grandmother was Fannie Schneir and her maiden name was Basvin. they lived in NY. They also had another sister Ida Kaufman that lived in NY.
