It is not uncommon during this time period for men and women to have children with different people. One of our female ancestors had children with 4 different men (that we know of) and only 2 are from documented marriages.
I also found it interesting that some of our ancestors were sponsors for 2 of the children that are listed (namely Magloire Neveu b. 1881 and Marguerite Neveu b. 1857)
