Last night I found an old book in a pile of my great grandfather's papers.

It will probably be months before it is scanned and transcribed, but wanted to let people know I have it.

Farm Plat Book. Alcona County Michigan 1956.

It has farm plats, with farm size and owners names, for every farm in Alcona County in 1956.

Does anyone know of any earlier versions of this sort of farm plat map? Would love to follow my relative's farms back to the turn of the century, and earlier.
