Mr. William "Bill" Giesbrecht - 869 10th St., Plainwell, passed away at Bronson Hospital early Sunday (April 23, 1972) morning. Mr. Giesbrecht was born April 28, 1901, in Manitoba, Canada. He was a retired die setter from Checker Motors Corp. and was a member of the Gun Plain Grange. Mr. Giesbrecht is survived by his wife, Iola; one son, David (Giz) of Shelbyville; 3 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Scherer of Leslie, Mrs. Myron (Maxine) Babcock of Three Rivers and Mrs. Robert (Hilda) Afman of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edith Reimer of Grimsby, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marshall & Gren Chapel, where services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., Pastor Sydney Hawthorn officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery.
