Mrs. Phoebe J. Helms - 342 W. Franklin St., Otsego, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning in Corbin, Ky. Mrs. Helms was born March 16, 1942, in Alamo. She is survived by her husband, Jack; 2 daughters, Kitty and Dawn; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley LaViolette of Otsego; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Strauss of Plainwell, Mr. Camile LaViolette of Gobles; a sister, Mrs. Bill (Nancy) Shattuck of Gobles; a brother, Kingsley Daniel of Otsego; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Winkel Funeral Home after noon Thursday, where services will be held Friday at 3:30 o'clock, Rev. B. C. Van Every officiating.
