Mrs. Joyce EVERITT, Pine Lake, MI, Passed away March 30, 1999 at her residence with her family at her side, Joyce was born on December 15, 1940 in Salisbury, MD, the daughter of Gilbert and Elsie (MORRIS) PUSEY. In April of 1967 she opened Joyce’s Beauty Salon in Plainwell, and operated it until recently, Joyce is survived by her husband, Ron, whom she married June 16, 1959; sons, Jeff (Jill) EVERITT of Kalamazoo, and Brian EVERITT of Otsego; grandchildren, Dustin, Jessica and Travis EVERITT; her father-in-law, Max EVERITT; her father-in-law, Max EVERITT of Prairieville; a special sister-in-law, Gwen SHEPARD of Delton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Anne EVERITT of Tennessee, Tom and Pam EVERITT of Alaska, Deb and Ed FLOOK of Kalamazoo; uncles, Vance Pusey, Wayne Pusey; aunts, Thelma THAWLEY, Amanda SANDERS and Anna MORRIS, all of Maryland; special cousins, Don and Lorraine SOURS of Virginia, Carl and Kathy MASON and Bobby and Amy MASON of Maryland; several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and her mother-in-law, Ruth EVERITT. A Memorial Service will be conducted Friday, April 2, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vineyard Community Church, 2508 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, Pastor Ed Floor officiating. Memorial contributions to Wings of Hope Hospice will be appreciated.
