I don't think it's the same person. My John Henry Rizer was bn 1830 in PA & married Mary Berry in 1852 in Tippecanoe County, IN. John's sister Amelia Jane married my g-grandfather Martin Garrison Smith in 1856 in WI. All four of them lived in Richland County, WI for years. I think that the John & Mary Rizer in the 1900 census in Berrien Co, MI, are my ancestors. Now I'm wondering if they are your John & Mary Rizer??? Their # of children, ages & birthplaces match my John & Mary. I can't figure out why they moved from WI to MI (can't find relatives in MI in census).
