Winona C. SINGER, 512 Walnut St., Dowagiac, MI Passed away Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at Lee Memorial Hospital. Mrs. SINGER was born November 7, 1916 in Dowagiac. She was a homemaker. On June 9, 1949 in St. Joseph, MI, she married Fred SINGER who survives. Also surviving are her 4 daughters, Beverly NICHOLS of Dowagiac, Lawanda WALKER of South Bend, Charlene STEVENS of Dowagiac, Gwendalyn SINGER of Kalamazoo; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Six sisters and 1 grandson preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, at 2 p.m. at the Connor-Mayo A.M.E. Church, Dowagiac. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
