Thanks for the info. Where would I go to order death certificates for Vic and Susan?

Of course Susan is to young for the 1940 census. Vic was born in Illinois and I search for him there, Indiana and Michigan with no luck. Will continue the search.

Where can I go to see about pre-1920 death certificates?

I was born in Flint in 1942, but we moved south in the mid-50's. I don't get back up there much any more.
