Surnames: Howard, Cady, Hewlett
I have just started researching the Howard name because of the Cady connection. There is some confusing info on the LDS site regarding DORCAS HOWARD who m. Jerome CADY in 1867 in Jackson Co, MI. This conflicts with some of my info.

The site also states that ALMA HOWARD m. George A. CADY 1866 in Ingham Co, MI. The LDS site shows Abraham & Elizabeth Hewlett Howard as parents to both Dorcas & Alma Howard.

I did find this family on the 1850 census in Jackson Co, MI. Seven children are listed, including Dorcas b. 1839, Albert b. 1846 and Almon (Alma?) b. 1849 (it shows that Almon is male).

I have been trying to confirm that Dorcas & Alma were sisters and they married brothers, Jerome & George.

I don't have any info on the parents of the Cady's, do you? By the way, George & Alma are my ggg grandparents.
