Have information on Pierre Giroux, a voyager from Drummond Island 1828 to Penetanguishene. He married to Marie St. Onge. They had a son Jacques Giroux who mar. Delphine Valle, dau. of Charles Vallee and Catherin Palin at Pene. 1869. They had son Joseph Giroux who supposedly married (or lived with) Agnes Boucher of Penetanguishene. Joseph and Agnes moved to Parry Sound, where Joseph was said to have killed a man at Bygn Inlet. They came to the US entering at Sault Ste. Marie, Chippewa Co. They lived lated at Cedarville using the name of Joseph Vallee. Their daughter, Mary Vallee mar. to Earl Pearo/ Perrault, son of Antwin Perrault of Detour, Chippewa Co. Antwine was son of Louis and ?. Louis was son of James Louis and Julia (LeDuc) Perau (French families of the Detroit River area). Have lots of Giroux and Boucher data from Penetanguishene.
