I am researching a Robert Fegor who states he was born in Gratiot county, Michigan on his WWII draft registration card.
He appears to be in the home of William J Fegore and Marie Strausmann/Strawsman he moved to Detroit married a Anna Labadie and had a daughter named Dorothy. Here is my question the family immigrated to St Johns, Michigan from Germany in 1883 in the area are other Fegor's who later spell their names Feguer and I suspect these families are all one in the same, or are they? Anyone know about these families?
Also I saw their was an obituary for Sophie Fegore from the
Clinton Republican from Sep 28, 1905 anyone able to look it up for me? I sure would appreciate it.
