I know of a Samuel Blizard who married a widow called Elizabeth Hall in May 1855 in Great Somerford, Wiltshire. Her father was recorded as William Bubb so I believe that is the marriage you are referring to.

I believe Samuel was married previously to a Sophia Hollis and had 4 children, Mary, Eleanor, Caroline and Lot. His father was Robert Blizzard and his brother was Thomas who I believe died in Medina, Ohio in 1871.
