Hi all!

Their is an Armstrong homestead that, as of fifteen years ago, is still standing in Frederic. After my grandfather retired he and my grandmother lived for several years in Grayling, the back yard of their house was against the Au Sable. The geneology is a little twisted because there were two alfred armstrongs, to the best of my knowledge, one was the product of Wealthy Armstrong's previous marriage and was adopted by my great grandfather, the other was the product of my great grandfather's first marriage to a woman who is unknown. I know my grandfather was Alfred. I don't know which of the two he was, as the names change quite a bit in census records and whatnot.

Does anyone have any clarifying information on this?
