I pretty much have all this information that you sent, other than the 1894 Michigan census, which I will have to check that out, and you have the wrong birth information for Olive Main, as a matter of fact when I went to the court house in Hastings , I found that she was born Oliver Main , April 13 1867, Barry County, Michigan , some of the children didnt know where their mother and father were born I guess, but others did, and most of the census records say Albert Main was born in PA . I have found only one the 1870 census that says he was born in New York. I do however know that my Main family is a branch of the Ezekial Main line from Connecticut and I know this because I started a Main surname DNA project at familytreedna.com, we now have over 40 members and 10 of the 40 match my family. I started the DNA project because of the brick wall with Albert Main. I also know Willard who I believe to be Alberts brother came to Michigan before Albert as he was in Jackson Prison in september 24 1842 for 2 years and then again september 10 1845 for 8 years for the same thing , Larceny, and then in 1860 census he was working for Asa Ware in Castleton Twp., he never owned any land with Albert, My Aunt put that on but its not true, but he did fight in the civil war, I have all his military records, he was in the hospital a lot at the time of the war and almost got in trouble from the provost marshall, but in his military papers there was a slip of paper that said his nearest relative was Albert Main, Willard Main died July 16 1865 in barry county, and he is burried in Barryville cemetery, he never married and had no children. the records I am having so much trouble with are the canadian records, but at least I do have Albert and Mary's marriage register record.
