Surnames: Quale; Gridley; Gidley; Higgins; Blasme; Blasure; Blasier
I did some basic digging and posted a copy of their photo at http://www.findagrave.com under Everett Quala (spelling error) and requested the name be updated to Quale.

Everett M. Quale was born on February 12, 1844 in Wyoming County, New York. By 1860, his residence was listed in Eaton County, Michigan. One person researching this line believes his father was Henry Quale and his mother was Patty Higgins. Everett Quale fought in the Civil War as a Private on the Union side in Company E, Regiment 7 Michigan Cavalry. According to LDS site he married Marguette Blasme/Blasure/Blasier on August 5, 1868 in Oneida, Eaton, Michigan. Later he married Susan Jane Gidley/Gridley on May 20, 1882 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Susan was born on July 22, 1852 in Knox County, Illinois. The 1900 census has their residence in Grand Ledge, MI. Susan died on May 30, 1923. Everett died on July 24, 1928. Both Everett & Susan Quale are buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge, Michigan in section D with grave photos at http://www.findagrave.com. Their son, Carlin Everett Quale, also pictured standing in the center of this photo was born February 17, 1885 in Michigan and died on November 11, 1918. The child sitting on Susan's lap in the photo is probably a girl about age 1-2 years old. Unknown if she died as a toddler or what? Over all seemed like a eventful, but sad life for Everett. He survived the war, but outlived his loved ones.
