COAD, Jeffery Robert - Of Flint, age 52, died Thursday, September 21, 2000 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, September 26, 2000 at First Presbyterian Church, 746 South Saginaw in Flint, Dr. Lawrence W. Kent officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church. Visitation 12noon-9PM today at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Coad will be at the church from 10AM Tuesday until the time of the service. Mr. Coad was born in Flint, Michigan on July 20, 1948, the son of Henry and Kathryn Coad. He was ordained a Deacon of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and sang in the choir at First Presbyterian Church for several years. He was involved in volunteer work in the community from the time of his retirement. He graduated from Westminster Choir College. Mr. Coad retired as a public school music teacher. Surviving are mother, Kathryn Coad; aunt, Anna Kilmer and family; cousin, Paul and wife Judy Walker; loving companion and fiancee', Janet George; special friend, Roger Baldwin and many other loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry R. Coad and brother, Archie Ray Coad.
