Mrs. Mary ADAMS Dies Monday; Was 72 Years of Age; Lived with Daughter, Mrs. Cora WILSON; Funeral Services are Thursday, Apr 15, 1929, Following an illness of several months, Mrs. Mary E. ADAMS died Monday evening in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora WILSON, here. Mrs. ADAMS was born in Litchfield, Michigan in 1855, the daughter of James C. and Melinda WILKINSON. She was married to Edgar E. ADAMS on June 11, 1879. Most of their married life was spent at Hillsdale. Mr. ADAMS died in 1823 (should be 1923). Mrs. ADAMS was a member of the College Baptist church at Hillsdale, and on coming to this village she identified herself with the Congregational Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Cora WILSON, a son, Everett L. ADAMS, of Springport, Michigan, a sister, Mrs. Mildred HARMON of Homer and seven grandchildren among whom are Esther and Irwin WILSON of Constantine. Funeral services will be held this Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the home here, and in the College Baptist church in Hillsdale in the afternoon.
