I am trying to locate information on my mothers family who all resided in or around Lake Linden,MI. Since she is an only-child, with no surviving relatives, family records have been lost. My grandfather was Harold Gaulin b-early 1900s/d-1964. Grandmother Irene Duchemin b-6/3/1917/d-1940's; siblings Julie, Angie (Jacques), Alice and George. In addition, My g-grandparents names were Margaret (St. George) & Dolphis Gaulin and Clara (b-approx. 1887)LaForest and David (b-approx. 1883. I do know that at some point there was a family member named George LaForest who was a monsignor in either Lake Linden or Houghton.
