I'm trying to piece together my mother's side of the family on her Mother's Side. Her Mother was Marie Mae LaLande and she was born in Michigan in (May 5 )1905. I believe she had a brother Joseph LaLande (Born February 27, 1899) who was married to Edna LaLande (Unknown Maiden Name) (born March 12, 1895). I found funeral book for both. When looking up information all I can find is that in 1930 they lived in iron river, Michigan and also when they died. I have tried doing a search and can not find any other info for my grandmother around that time. I am unsure of parents names or where they were born (Probably Canada somewhere as most LaLande's I find are from there. I found 2 family pictures of a LaLande Family from 1985 with names (Alex, Denise & Brandon La Lande) , but do not know where they lived. I have a partial picture of my grandmother with her mother and a sister but does not give any other information as to names. So any information would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Wisconsin so going to a Michigan library would be tough for me. I don't know where in Michigan my grandmother was born. Money is tight so requesting records is difficult right now. I have no one to ask who some of the people are in pictures as both my parents are gone as well as my grandparents, and have no other family that I know of to ask.
