It has been told in my family that Samuel Bennett of Crystal Falls invented some sort of new way of removing Iron from rock and that this is how his family made a small fortune. Now I do know that at one point the family was wealthy but i cannot find any info on him inventing anything, and you think i would. Also it is said that he shot a man over a cow..... Can anyone confirm or deny any of the above for me?
