Linda Mae DYKEHOUSE, Formerly of Kalamazoo, Died September 11, 2001 at home in Loreto, Mexico. Linda was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1942. She was raised and educated in Kalamazoo and graduated in Kalamazoo and graduated from Kalamazoo Central in 1960. She was the daughter of Max and Myrtle KEYES who preceded her in death. Linda was very involved with her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and history. She was an avid reader and very involved with the local community in Loreto, Mexico. In 1999 she founded and directed the non profit organization for physically and mentally disabled children. Children of Lorento. In Linda’s memory, a local school in Linda’s memory, a local school in Loreto will be renamed in her honor. She s survived by her husband, Ronald Dykehouse of Loreto; two children, Cheryl Lynn Dykehouse of Portland, Oregon and H. Robert Dykehouse of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Patricia Keyes of Kalamazoo; and brother, Michael Keyes of Grand Rapids. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, September 22, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo.
