Gordon M. BURNHAM Sr., Parchment, Died June 15, 2001 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mr. BURNHAM was born May 27, 1931 in Kalamazoo, the son of Harold and Grace (HANNISHION) BURNHAM. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1949. He was an army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a POW. He was a member of the American Legion Post #225 and the VFW Post #827 and was louse to march in the Memorial Day Parade. He was a delivery driver for several beer companies throughout the area for more than forty years. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed driving his truck. He was frequent patron of the Gull Road Tavern and Louie’s. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenneth. On May 27, 1955 in Kalamazoo he was united in marriage in Connie (BROWN) BURNHAM who survives. Also surviving are six children; Annette S. BURNHAM of Hereford, AZ., Gordon M. (Sandra) BURNHAM Jr. of Parchment, Garry BURNHAM of Parchment, Jerry M. BURNHAM of Kalamazoo, Katherine KEY of Parchment, and Eric E. BURNHAM of Parchment; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four sisters, Ruth, Lois, Marilyn, and Florence, many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Tuesday from 10:00 am Noon at the Betzler Funeral Home Stadium Dr. West of 131, The Funeral will be Tuesday 12:00 noon at the funeral home Reverend Ken Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
