Wm. Cronin Dies in Flint
Word has been received in Kalkaska of the dath of William P. Cronin of Flint, a former resident of Kalkaska. Mr. Cronin passed away Sunday morning, January 24. Funeral services were held in Flint Tuesday, and burial was made in Saginaw.
Surviving deceased besides his widow, the former Freda Russell, are, one son, Major William R. Cronin; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Ridgely of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mrs. Zola Sheldon of Detroit, also one nephews, Mr. Clarence Getty of Flint.
Mr. Cronin grew to manhood and was schooled in Kalkaska. He was an employee of the Buick Company in Flint for many years. - Leader and Kalkaskian, January 28, 1954
